Nobody rides anymore. In my area (Colorado Springs) more n more of my friends and acquaintances have stopped riding. I love being on my bike (my wife hates when I ride alone street or dirt). I don’t have Facebook and I don’t wanna hang out at the biker friendly bars. In this day and age finding those who love to ride when you prefer to keep your circle small is hard.
rant over.

just the opposite for me..actually today is my 60th birthday and I ride more miles each year, my wife has her own HD trike..we have lots of friends that we ride with all over the place as much as we can..it's our #1 past time and way to enjoy life...
I ride alone most of the time and don't mind so much.
I'm 65 and some of my riding buds have passed on while others have moved away.
That and I'm still working a lot of hours as a local truck driver so free time is often limited being a homeowner on acreage with things to maintain and getting enough rest to go back at it on Monday.
Before the Obama era recession I had a regular job with normal hours and averaged 20,000 miles a year.
I bought a new Electra Sept. 2019 and so far only managed 15,000 miles on it.
@bikridr69 , I can relate. I've been riding for over 20 years and have ridden almost exclusively solo for the past 8 years. I've tried connecting with groups through "Meetup", but that brings out riders with various levels of riding experience and some drama.
I don’t mind riding alone. In fact doing it more often nowadays since most of my riding buddies don’t ride anymore or rarely ride. In Colorado Springs we can usually ride almost year round. With days here n there when the streets are clear. So far this year we haven’t had any snow and way above average temps. I plan to take advantage of the temps and road conditions until I can’t.
Should add I retired this year so will be able to ride a lot more with other retirees in our circle…have always loved being on two wheels since my first time as a kid and can’t imagine life without
I also ride alone. I rode with ny neighbor for about 7 years until he wrnt full custom everything, 30rim bags long enough to hit everything and blah blah. Not only was it harder for him to ride due to a neck issue and just plain unhealthy living, but the bike was built like crap and we always had issues. His bike hasnt ran since this time in 2019.
We used to ride with a group but im a single dad and they always met on weekends my kiddo was with me. I dont mnow many people who ride either.
Yesterday i was able to ride the 190 mile round trip to Galveston for the rally and man i loved it alone. Get in a lane, get the tunes going, set it to 80, prop my feet up and enjoy the views.
