Gotta ? about converting my skinny 150 mm rear tire to a 200 mm, been checking out the Thunderbike build that Thunderbike customs did with the 200 mm tire and the shorty bobber style fender on the street bob. Im contemplating on the rear fender the Thunderbike street bob has, along with their seat aswell. But im curious about any good "links" for a 5.5 or 6" outer rim to lace to my center hub.
Dude, getting a wider tire on the back of my 2019 street Bob has been one of the greater struggle of my entire life lolzzz. It appeared as though I could go up to a 200 without changing the swing arm, would just need to swap the fender. In fact, all aftermarket swingarms you can buy are for 250s and up, because a 200 apparently fits in the stock swingarm. Contacted several companies and they all told me the same thing, they don't make one for a 200 because a 200 fits stock swingarm. They make fenders and whatever else you need to do the switch, but doesn't include a swingarm because the stock swingarm will accept a 200 tire. Awesome, just gotta get a new fender and pick out my rims. I already wanted a bobbed fender anyway so works out just fine.
Found an awesome fender online from a custom shop in Germany. Paid the $1300, waited a while, it arrived. It's perfect, exactly what I wanted. Been sitting in my dinning room just waiting for my wallet to have enough in it to afford some new rims. I had settled on Agitators but i wasnt sure if theyd work because theyre not softail rims. I went to my local shop and they said they were pretty sure they could find a way to make them work but couldn't be certain without having the bike and rims there to tinker with. Understandable. They stopped making Agitators, but I found a used set on ebay, so I bought them and took them up there...
Found out today that the wheel hubs are too wide. The rim fits in there, but it won't with the caliber and all the other stuff attached. I love those Agitator rims. Everything else I've seen just didn't hit the spot for me like they do. But on top of that, now I'm stuck with them, and $1200 is a little out of my price range for lawn ornaments. Not sure what to do next. You have any updates on your situation?

There's a US company i found online called "Heartland USA" that has kits for doing the wide tire conversion on harleys, they even build an add on seat that hooks in when you wanna do a two up.
Yeah I saw that, I didn't much care for the fender or seat though. The fender I bought is the bobbed fender from Rick's Motorcycles. I haven't received my seat yet but I ordered it from harley. Heartland is actually one of the companies I contacted that told me you don't need a new swingarm to fit a 200 tire, that the oem swingarm will take one

Jimibones, do you have any pictures of the swingarm? And which German company did you buy it from? I converted my 2013 Breakout to Thunderbike spec (rear fender, seat, lights, etc.) But might be considering a new 2025 Street Bob. I used to own 2011 Street Bob (with Dyna Chassis).
