Default M8 compensator bolt removal

Howdy
Getting ready to install stronger comp ramp on my 19 RG.
How difficult is it to remove the factory-installed compensator bolt? Don't know if the factory uses blue or red loctite on them..
Should I apply heat to the bolt, to soften the loctite, before attempting to remove it with a breaker bar and extension (with locking bar installed),
or should heat only be applied as a last resort?

Thanks

Honestly, after you lock the primary with a locking bar, just crank on it. It will come right off.

Also, any T70 from anywhere will work - it doesn't have to be a SnapOn or specialty brand. Both the primary lock bar and T70 are all over Amazon for cheap. Easy.

I got my T70 from OTC, Tekton makes a T70 and they're pretty good quality too, American made.
And it's not particularly hard to get the Comp Bolt out. You just need to get one of those cheap jamming tools or a block of wood(something hard but not super hard that it will damage your sprocket teeth/chain),
and I used a 24in breakerbar, and leveraged myself against the crash bar and pulled with someone else pushing the tool into the bolt to make sure it didn't slip out.
I'm a pretty small gal, so I dont think it will be all that difficult for most people working on their bikes at home.

Just make sure you put new red loctite on the bolt that's going in unless its a lock patched already.

Yes. Same bar used since they went to the 6 speed.
