Yes but I also set the lifter plunger to 0.125" depth instead of the usual 0.100.

How did you do that and what does it prevent with new lifters, if anything.

The pin oiler increases oil to the roller axle. It's supposed to increase roller bearing life. IIRC, @wfolarry said that Hylift had told him it helps ensure that the pin gets lubed on stationary motors that run at constant speed. Motors like big generators have this as a common failure. At certain RPMs the certain rollers may not get adequate splash.

My 131 factory crate makes enough valve clatter noise that I'm not sure if I'll ever notice them getting worse....
