Motorcycle Insurance DiscussionThis is the place to discuss what type of Motorcycle Insurance you carry or any problems or good experiences you've had with certain companies.
So rider insurance just informed me they will not be able to provide comp and collision on my 1985 Flhtc. Any suggestions on who can provide full coverage
Got my 72 shovel insured through Farmers but I have my truck & house with them also.
I'm not sure if its the same in California as it is here in NV but I never liked Farmers for bikes (I was a Farmers agent for 10 years before I went independent). Foremost (Farmers owned company) has a better product overall.
Besides Progressive I place a fair amount of business with American Modern, they have a pretty good policy with good rates. Unfortunately its almost impossible to shop for any insurance products by comparing with other people across the country as every company in each state is very different.

Foremost is who my agent has me with, been good so far and rates are cheaper than others I've checked with.

That's good - Foremost is fine. A few years back Farmers also wrote bikes and the rates were phenomenal but the policy wasn't very comprehensive. They started to move all of that business to Foremost who had/has a much better product for bikes
