I probably get $100 worth of maps every year. You going on the WA./Or hog rally this year?
That is true one nice feature. When is it and where they going this time? I have half of July off, but were headed to Mammoth Lakes for a family reunion, then we're headed to WSU to move my son in mid Aug.
Have you had to use AAA yet? It's piece of mind, but $157 is steep. Until I need it, I guess.
I have the AAA RV/Plus. I have used it a few times and never had an issues getting towed. I have been a AAA member since 1987...I also use their other services as well so it hqas been well worth the money spent over the years.
AMA looks like the best bang for the buck. I have thought about joining for years but never got around to it. I think I am now convinced. I was a member of AAA for years but the service was not always the best.
AAA does offer a good coverage, but man, $157 just seems steep for a tow. No one has any info on AMA? A 35 mile tow doesn't cover much when you're on the road. Am I missing something? I did use the crap out of the discounts offered by AAA on our last trip, so maybe I'll just stick with them.............
i just got back from the laughlin river run. my nephew rode my roadking i rode my streetglide we stopped in barstow and notice 6 broken spokes. i called my ins. progressive they would only cover 15 miles i was 100 plus miles from laughlin it cost me $700.00 to flatbed the bike to laughlin. screw progressive iam buying aaa $157.00 a tow aint **** to compare what i paid for that tow. i still had to buy a wheel the only thing i found was 18in. rear wheel it cost me $150.00 and then $65.00 to mount the wheel. if i would have had aaa i could have had a better time but i had to be conservative while i was there. long story short $157.00 is nothing. just my 2 cents .

I have both HOG ($45) & AAA Texas ($104). When I signed up for AAA, all my vehicles were covered (truck and bike), as well as any vehicle I was in. Most 4-wheel travel is in GF's truck.
I took them at their word. People Ive known that have and have used AAA have no complaints. AAA did tell me that if I ever called for the bike, to make sure and tell them it was a motorcycle...that way they'd show up with 'proper' towing equipment and tie-downs.
