Is your bike insurance policy too expensive to afford complete coverage? Mine's not much more than $100 as an add on with my home and auto policies all at one agency.
Have you contacted your insurance agent and asked if you can take off part of your coverage? Usually there is a "package" of coverage, parts of it can't be deleted.
Look into medical coverage. You may have health coverage policy through your employer that is being duplicated on your cycle coverage.
And odds are the very day you remove coverage is the day that you'll need it.

Have a friend that dropped everything except liability and medical on his bike.
He had a wreck and lost his bike and a large amount on medical payments.
Got a new bike and did the same thing a little later. Didn't go a month and wrecked again. Almost killed him this time. Lost his *** again.
Never learned.
