Are links to 'Bring a Trailer allowed?
Leaves you in a bad bargaining position, makes you look too anxious.
Rent a local U-Haul if and when you agree on the purchase and price.

Well still good advice even if it was unsolicited.

The only analogy I could come up with is:
It's like a guy showing up to look at your motorcycle with a trailer.
I just did it at the beginning of the summer, I have a nice trailer, but when I went to look at my Electra Glide 50 miles away I didn't take it
Showed up, I liked it, negotiated a price then went to a local Uhaul and got a one way trailer.
They are more expensive that way - if you don't return it to the same U-Haul.
A motorcycle trailer is $15 for the day $8 insurance if you return it to the same U-Haul.
It's about 60 if you return it to a different U-Haul.
I negotiated the price down $1,000 so the 60 didn't seem bad. I don't think he quite would have went down a thousand if I just showed up with a trailer.

I have no problem telling the guy No, and dragging my trailer back to my house. I have purchased many bikes, and showing up prepared has never been a bad thing.
