This is a true classic - 25 years old and very well taken care of! This is just about all original just like it was rolled off the showroom floor with around 33,000 miles. It runs great and looks great. This is one of the last shovelhead's and it has the 5 speed transmission! It has recently been at the local shop to replace all the head gaskets and carb gaskets since it had some very minor leaks. It was never dropped while ridden but it did fall over once and the batwing faring has scratches on the right side (see pictures), other than that the two-tone Tan & Crčme paint is flawless. I uploaded many pictures into my personal photo album so you can see more if you are interested.
This is a blast to ride and even more fun when someone sees it and realize what it is, I get many comments from those who know!
Asking $9500.

Reason: Price Lowered
***** G and 5 other guys rode into Sturgus on classics that color. the 6 of them make quite an entrance. I was there on my 78 flh Black with gold trim 75th annversary. Any how ***** said they were going to buy Harley back from AMF. The bad thing was I didn't go buy stock just more JW Black. Don over and out>>>>>
The condition it is in. I doubt you will find another in as good condition and stock. The price is negotiable but local guys tell me it is worth every penny.
My bro has a 78 that was his grandfathers. He rides the shot out of it and although stock (maroon) urs is an incredible piece!! I hope the next owner takes the care and pride in her she deserves!!!

I agree it does look good. I was only inquiring as I have a 1983 FLHS, not all in original condition but all the original parts are there except the paint job, different exhaust(I still own the original) and I've added a windshield. I thought perhaps 1983 might have been a "special" year for some reason. Last year of the shovel and all that.
