Not to offend you...If the bike was your late father's. Why would you want to sell it ?. In my case, I would keep it just for the sake of memories of my dad and probably pass it on to my son. Do you have kids ?.
Best of luck with your decision or selling the bike, Bro...

Well, I've posted about this a bunch of times over the last few months, but to summarize:
1. I am keeping his custom 2007 Road Glide (110" Screamin Eagle, 18" apes, tons of motor and component upgrades).
2. My brother is keeping his VERY custom 1999 Springer
3. Neither of us want to ride this bike (since we each have another we prefer), and I'm in a spot where I could really use some money.
In the last 10 years, my dad probably had maybe 8 different bikes? This was I think the 3rd black electra glide he went through. The Road Glide which I am keeping was "his bike" though, the rest of these were just sort of, "loaner bikes" for when his Road Glide was in the shop.
man if you would have had this for sale a few months ago it would have been sold to me. it's a good looking bike and i bet it will get up and go too. know you know if it has even been dynoed? and did it come with the 103" stock or was it built? good luck selling it.
Awesome bike! Same as jd8181, a couple of months ago if i would have seen this I would have been all over it! Good luck, here in the midewest you would be able to sell that in a heartbeat @ 13.

the 103" was a complete, new motor that was put into the bike at the dealership. It wasn't built onto the stock 88, that motor was removed and this one put on.
I can't say why though, that's just what he wanted to do. Same with the Road Glide, he had the 96" motor removed and the 110" put in it's place. On each bike, the motor cost 6-7000. I'm presuming they came with more than just a piston kit.
