Wife was in a serious car accident last September and, although she has pretty well recovered, she no longer has the desire or courage to ride her own bike. She has decided to sell her '05 Softail Deluxe, asking $12,000 OBO. She is the second owner, and the bike is in excellent condition with the exception of one spot on the transfer cover where the chrome has blistered. It has less than 15,000 miles, detachable windshield, saddlebags, alarm, and more, and can be seen in Port Huron, MI.

Can't be sure why no comments it looks the part, maybe a lot newer bikes out there in the market place good luck with the sale hope you get a few bites soon.
Since you asked....yes, the price is too high. If someone is selling something, no matter what it is, if it doesn't sell, the price is too high.
There's a buyer for everything, just look at E-bay or Craigs List. Someone will be anything, at a price.
Thanks for the feedback 1badbagger. I believe you are right, as the only offer we received was for $10,000.00, which she refused. Guess I'll get it ready for winter storage and see how the market is in the spring. In the meantime, if anyone is still interested, it remains available.

IMHO - might want to reconsider that offer. $10K is about all you can get here in SoCal
for that bike and I don't think MI is much different. Good luck.
I had pretty much warned her that the economy has changed and Harley's no longer held resale value as they once did. Remember when you had to order a new bike and wait months, and could sell any model two or three years old for the same price as new, just because the demand was so high? Those days are gone. However, she is a bit on the stubborn side, to say the least, and I doubt she will accept less than what SHE thinks the bike is worth. Maybe, if she can't get the price she wants, she will change her mind and keep it (my preference).
Thanks again for the insight and well wishes.
