1979 FXS Lowrider with 711 miles on rebuild. Matching numbers on frame, trans and motor. Complete ground up rebuild. This is an 80ci motor. It has a Rev Tec 5 speed but I have the matching number 4 speed trans is included. Forward controls but I have all original mid-shift parts included. S&S Super E and electronic ignition. All steel braided oil lines. Braided clutch and throttle cables. New Battery, Primo Dry clutch, late model switch housings, wedge turn signals, mustang seat, straight pipes, color is 1989 GMC Sea Foam Green. Lots of polished aluminum very little chrome.
I purchased this bike in 1985 and have receipts for most of the work and parts. I have the Rev Tec trans certificate as well. Starts and runs great. Starter solenoid doesn't work, I Jump the terminal on the starter solenoid and the starter turns over. The only other thing I would do is replace the fork seals. I haven't riden this bike since 2000 after the rebuild because I bought a 1996 Wide Glide. Clear title in hand. Asking $6,500.00. The bike is located in South Florida. More pics available. I also have video of bike running.
Just took the bike out over this weekend for the first time in years. Still runs strong with no leaks that I could find. Started on 4th, 5th kick everytime. It's running a little fat because of the new motor, so I am sure a little tuning on the S&S would get it started a little easier. Idles fine, crisp throttle response and pulls real hard.
