I have a sporster 48 2014 that is almost at the 1000k mark and I need to do some performance upgrades to it. Im just not happy with what it can do stock. I had found a shop online somewhere around Orem area on the way to Timpanogos Harley dealership; and now that I cant find what it was called for the life of me. I also was wondering if anyone from around here had any suggestions as to where else would be a good place to have work done. I just cant afford to spend too much. I was thinking about pipes, air intake, re map the engine for optimal performance. Please Help a noob!! Thanks
Honestly what you're looking to do is pretty straightforward and any shop, should be able to help you with that. If you're comfortable turning wrenches at all the upgrades you mentioned are easily doable at home. You can buy these three items together and the vendor will match them for you.
All of that said if you want to take it to a shop still there are a few good ones around. I'd probably try Two Wheeled Freedom Machine in Spanish Fork. They have done work for me in the past and were very reasonable and easy to talk to/ work with.
