The SE 255 makes good low end power but will start falling off around 4500 rpm. The 590 cam will come on around 2000 rpm and continue past 5000 rpm. Of course, everything depends on the motor components you have. I've never heard anyone say anything negative about the 590 cam and at this price you can't go wrong.

I came across a deal on a new TR-625. I decided to put it in to see if it made good numbers and it does. Its on par with the 590. I'm going to upgrade to 107 ci in the near future and will be using the 625 in that configuration.
