Sturgis 80th - whose going?
I think I heard somewhere that the fewer bands there are, the more nekkid women there will be!
Don't know why that would be, but I hope that's right! Somethin' to look forward to!

If you're considering a ride through Yellowstone this year, from what a friend that just got back from there this week told me, the roads are fairly empty and you can make reservations in the lodges etc. a few days in advance instead of having to do it the usual year or so ahead like it normally is. You might consider the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Route that goes to or from the northeast entrance of the park. Really breathtaking scenery and free camping beside mountain lakes etc. and none of the hassles of staying inside the park with all the rules and a Ranger behind every tree - more of a "Wilderness Experience" if you're into that, and it's only a stones-throw from Cody.
Heavy-duty bug dope, rain and cool-weather gear is a must!
Some pics of the place if you're not already familiar with it:

And you're oh-so right about Colorado changing - and it Ain't for the better!! If you haven't planned to ride in the state this year, I'd say to stick with that. The roads are TERRIBLE!
It's not the place I moved to from Texarkana Arkansas 36 years ago - but still a damn sight better than what I left, warts and all! Probably would move to Wyoming or Montana if I had it all to do over again, though.
I DID live in Yellowstone as a grocery clerk at the Fishing Bridge Store the summer of '83, and it was the best time of my life.
Ride safe.
