Here are our thoughts (but could always change )

(Oh what fun on the trip home )
We are going from Bloomfield,NM, to Salt Lake City, to Boise,Idaho for the Idaho State Rally, and then on to Billings. Haven't decided whether to go through Yellowstone on the way up or not. Might save it for the trip home.
We will leave home on the 25th of June. Would like to get together with you for a chat and photo op somewhere along the way. Let me know if you are interested.
The route that you have planned is a good one. An alternate to Flaming Gorge would also be a great trip. I have done both.
Seems like we were gonna head more up through Utah from the north rim of the GC & Zion. As I recall, it took us through Bryce Canyon, Escelante, Hanksville, then back towards Price & Spanish Fork.
Given these recommendations, it looks like we could head back to the NE from Price up towards Vernal.
We have done the I-15 coming back from Washington. While it's nicer than the Interstates in TX, it is Interstate.
This sounds like a decent alternative to me!
Bill - If we can hookup & chat and get a few pics, that would be great too!
Man, Hwy 191 north of Vernal through the Flaming Gorge area looks fantastic!!!!! How would you go from there? Stay on 191 or go west on 80 to hit 189? Either way, you'll be paralleling my planned course through the Wind River Reservation. We'll be on one side of the mountain and you guys will be on the other. Maybe we'll meet up in Jackson.
