Got a '16 Street Glide Special and I put in Sirius LED bulbs to the stock headlight. The lights work GREAT......however cause me to have no radio. I have the antenna up in the front fairing. I tried the ones with the cooling fans.....and the ones WITH just the heatsinks.....but to no luck! NO RADIO reception. Anyone know a way around this.....or suggestions (Besides buying a Daymaker)?????
Had the same bulbs for about 2 years and had same issue. I had a J&M audio hidden antenna and couldn't get sh$t for signal. I didn't really listen to the radio much anyways.
I recently replaced the Sirius bulbs with a $65 eBay LED day maker type headlight. I'm removed the hidden antenna and plugged stock back in. Still don't have the whip on the back though. I can get a few stations now but nothing real clear till the stock whip is put back on.
Thanks for the replies guys. That stinks though......too bad no one makes a fix for the issues.....because the lights are awesome. I don't use the radio much......but it would be nice to have.......
I even tried ferrite core noise suppressors after doing some research. Well these didn't help either. The amount of light the Sirius bulbs put out with stock headlight is amazing tough. But I am blacking my bike out and decided on the cheap black day maker. And that light came with adapter harness for $65 total. And so far I'm pretty happy with it.

i have the sirus led bulb and run xm on the bike without issues. Even before the led bulb i had horrible fm reception, plus i travel across the country on my sg so xm was the only way to go for me.
