Default When is it too early to ride in the northeast?

Im trying to use as much self control as possible but I cannot seem to gather enough to not get the bike in the next few weeks (bieng stored at the dealer for winter) i think i should wait until the third week in april or so but i know thats not going to happen. As it is my first winter into spring span that i have not had a motorcycle from only riding less than one year, i am not entirely sure when it is safe to take it out. Every day I see gajillions ( a dozen, tops) of people on bikes right now in upstate NY and i get more and more restless the more i see them. There were even a couple of bikes at the last HOG meeting i went to what would the dangers of picking up the bike this early aside from high salt content on the roads rusting the parts on my new bike and riding on cold tires? is anoyne here riding in the northeast yet?

I have ridden every month this year at least a couple days. FLHPI is on the road all year and I put the Henderson on the road yesterday. Lots of good days in April to ride. March has good days also. As far as salt goes, I wash the bikes off real well after a ride this time of year anyway. Just be carefulusing the front brakeRiding in Elmira NY

I probably wont ride until I go to Myrtle Beach in may. There is a major amount of snow here and the roads will be **** right through April I think

If I could get this out!!

Then I could dig this out!

Then I could put my bike in and tow itdown this!

To some clear roads, and go for a ride.

soon
