I've not been to the Open House, but I did take the 'Steel Toe Tour'. If that's part of the OHT, then it's well worth it.

I've been but it has been awhile since the dates always seem to conflict with the Dover NASCAR race. It used to be a good event with tours of the factory(last time I was there ALL the bikes were assembled at York), and museum(if it is still there), good food and local dealers selling stuff. Friday night the city of York closed off some blocks of streets to everything but bikes and just have a big block party with live music. Also had plenty of vendors at some local hotel parking lots. The fairgrounds also had something going on at times too. Again it might have changed since my last time.

Been, good tour, interesting seeing everything being put together, talking to the guys on the line (union and non-union), and lot's happening in the lot, vendors and demo rides. Worth it for sure, at least once. Oh, yea, take some t shirt money, lol.

I rode up Saturday morning and it has changed a lot! Where is all the bikers? The last time I was up there we had to wait to get into the factory for the tour, not this time just walked right in. Nobody was working on Saturday so the plant was dead, I remember the plant working at some capacity on Saturdays but not shut down. The parking lot was maybe 1/4 full and the dealer tents were selling some clearance items. I'm not sure what happened to the museum but it wasn't there anymore unless I missed it. We were running late so I didn't get over to the test ride area but it didn't look very crowded either or get to ride around town much. The rain on the way home just made the day. Anybody go Thursday or Friday?
