Went to a local dealer and they told me they would have the bike for 5/6 hours. The service manager said that they have one of the best guys on the east coast tuning right now *Take that as you will*. Not sure if I should shop around for more places or not. I'm located in East Stroudsburg PA
Would not go to a Harley dealer for the tune. I'd go for a tuner with auto tune like a power vision V. Especially if your only mods are intake and exhaust. $500 will get you the tuner, then after that all the fine tunning you want for life.
I negotiated my tune, at the dealer I bought my bike from, down to $300.00 from $350.00. I did buy the cams, air intake, and mufflers from them. They also know they will get that much and more back from me in "add-ons" over time.
Who is the dealer? If its Zepka Harley, your in good hands. Most charge $450-500. That's high especially if the tune sucks when they get done. If its done right its a bargain.
There is a guy who used to be in business for himself that was known for being one of the best tuners in the PA area that went to work for a HD Dealer. I am thinking it is Pocono HD, not sure tho. Real good tuners are very hard to find. Too many people have Dynos and really don't know how to use them!!! 500.00 for a tune? A little on the high side, however, if its done to the fullest it would worth it in my opinion.
Good Luck

The guy at Pocono HD is really good, but $500 is crazy, I bought a Power Commander V from Fuel Moto and the map is pretty much right on.
The dealer is "Pocono Harley Davidson" and the guys names Dave. Wasnt too sure if I could say on here r not. Brian from service was telling me all about him
