which oil do all prefer? Really trying to stick to one brand for the crankcase, primary, and transmission. i work in a parts store and can get any brand. Just wanting to know a good quality brand that is not to exspensive. I also my bike is a 07 ultra (96 twin cam, six speed). Thanks.
OP, You didn't say whether you plan on the same lube in all 3 places. People do it and the world keeps turning but I never cared for it in the tranny. In any case if you are looking for reasonable cost and one brand take a look at Valvoline. They have 20W50 for your motor, 10W40 4T JASO certified oil that will work in your primary, and of course 90W for the tranny. But most of the big companies offer the same. Then you can decide on syn or conv. All of them will work. Just change at reasonable intervals and ride often.
The above is just my opinion of course. Everyone else has one too.

Ok, hold the flames for minute,
A friend has inquired about the use of Mobil 1 50W in all 3 holes. Says the owner of a bike he's looking at buying is using it and was curious.
I told him it isn't what I use, but he's concerned about any issues that may crop up.
