Hello,
I just found this site yesterday and posted a question on bearing grease,
Guess I posted in the wrong place,. anyway, has anyone out there experienced problems
with springer neck bearings? I have replaced already at 10k miles. Harley tech says this is
normal. I use there bearing grease but it seems like syrup. Can I use a good hi temp lithium
grease? Harley says they have some blue stuff that is better, but will still have to change bearins
about 10k miles. Appreciate any ideas

I've used marine wheel bearing grease with what I consider good results.I dont have a springer front end, but a neck bearings will never spin as fast as a wheel bearing for any vehicle. plus they claim it doesnt absorb moisture.works for me.I've know guys that have never greased neck bearings but thats another story.
