Well I for one appreciate your posts gunner... I had no clue about oil and still dont. But you have educated me a bit and I'm wandering over to bobistheoilguy for reading. Not sure why folks not want to learn more about oil for these high dollar machines... I'm mean most of us obsess over pretty much everything related to them... why not oil!
Hey, Y`all...... It`s not officially winter yet.........
I worked in a Gas Station exactly like that in 1968! Well maybe it was Sohio on the sign.
I was born and raised in Ohio and there were indeed "Sohio" stations back then and earlier. I think that stood for Standard Oil of Ohio.
Those stations even advertised on radio and TV and mentioned the additive, Boron.

Some people just don't give a **** and assume no one else does either. Funny how the same 2 assclowns are always the first to reply to these threads with nothing useful to contribute...ever.
I was a grease monkey back in the early 80s at a full service Standard(Amoco) station in WI. You checked people's oil while you pumped their fuel whether they wanted it checked or not or the boss, George Jones (rip), came down hard on your ***. lol
I'm going to find out more about this motorsilk. I might just run it and see if I experience the same noticeable results those in the air cooled saabs have with adding boric acid in powder form. Or maybe I'll just add the boric acid powder since it seems to have quicker results.

Is it really necessary to post nasty stuff like this when someone disagrees with you?
Despite what you may think, you are not the supreme oil expert, and you don`t own every discussion about oil, everyone has the right to post here, without being insulted or flamed.
