Engine - AMSOIL 20W50 (I change it every 5K)
Primary- AMSOIL 20W50 (I plan on changing every 10K)
Tranny- Redline Shockproof Heavy (I plan on changing every 10K)
I'm in Wisconsin and the riding temps are between 40 to 90 on average.
I like Amsoil. 20w50 vtwin in crank and primary and Amsoil 75w90 gear lube in the trans. I put on 12k to 15k miles per year so I don't keep track of the miles between changes. The crank I change in early spring then again early July then again in the fall. The primary and trans I change just once per year the same time I do the crank in the spring. Amsoil is a synthetic oil.
