I helped a friend of mine on his sporty and I'm prettysure there's a rubber hose that looks like its going towards the swingarm. there's a hose clamp that you loosen pull the hose off and it drain. we called the dealer before we did this cause he didn't have the book either.

Probably like my 06 883, a hose by the swing arm. Has a plastic plug in it, that a mini hose clamp holds in place. Kinda a rigged deal, but it does work. The hose is just an extension from the bottom of the oil tank. Just don't forget to put that hose clamp back on.
