Don't know what year your Evo is, but if HD makes the new Super Premium Oil Filter to fit, that sounds like a good choice. Supposed to filter down to 5 micron particles I believe. The average filter on the market only filters down to 20-25 microns.
A better filter than the HD one is available from Wix, or from any NAPA store (made for NAPA by Wix.) Tell 'em what year & model bike you have and they'll cross it. They even have chrome ones for you chrome-junkies.
And to repeat what 95BadBoy said, do not use the filters designed for Twinkie motors on an Evo. If you do, the pressure drop across the filter will probably cause it to start bypassing, meaning you have no filter in the system.
I believe if you use anything smaller than a 30 micron on an evo, you're looking for problems there.Much different than the TC setup. One is high pressure low volume and the other is high volume low pressure.
