Default amsoil

Recently I have had three of my customers tell me they were told by their dealer that amsoil is not good for their bikes because the material used in the cam adj and primary chain adj are not compatible with amsoil. Or for that matter any syn oil. When i questioned them about harley syn3 they said they were told it is not a true syn and therefor itis compatible. they haven't stopped using amsoil but are hesitant now
anyone else hear this????

I have been running Amsoil in my '07 for two years, and I just pulled the cams/chains/adj/lifters and they look GREAT! It's like they are barely broken in after 33,000 miles.

It appears to me that with good oil (Amsoil, in my case) the new style cam chest will last for a long, long time.

That is 100% unfiltered bullcrap on the part of the dealer which should earn that guy the name "stealer". Syn3 is a GroupIII hydrofinished synthetic oil. Amsoil is a PAO based GroupIV synthetic oil. Both are very good and compatible with any engine produced after 1994.
