Latest Oil Analysis

The latest used oil analysis that poco posted is from me, and although I know the debate over the best oil will go on forever, I must say I'm impressed with the results from the AMSOIL I had in my bike. Not that I'm here to tout them over any other brand, but the fact that the oil was in the bike for a year (including 4 months in storage), and the fact that I had over 6,000 miles on the oil, I'm even more impressed with the results...especially since the lab suggested I extend the drain interval. I only started using AMSOIL because the company is from my home state and because they were the first to bring synthetic oil to the general marketplace. Again, not trying to promote them, just trying to bring good info to the site.

I have used it for 26 years and have no complants except when they did the m/c-v-twin oil at higher cost cause they still have there old 20/50 high performance that is still jaso ma rated. Thats what i still run and have also run it 7000 and tested back around 85 or so. I always change going in to winter and almost never get over 7000 a year but have run 2 times to 10000miles.You do have to have a good well running engine in good shape . A trucking company owner told me about it first time and can't remember which oil it was anymore. He used it in his fleet.
