Location of oil filter

Got a 1970 FLH Electra Glide; new to HD's. I need to change the oil, filter, plugs, etc.

Sounds dumb, but where is the oil filter located for this engine?

Without double checking, I believe that has a drop in filter cartridge with a spring as opposed to a spin on filter as the newer types do. If that is the case, you will find it in the oil tank. I believe it is the Per-form like shown below. The first thing you should do is get yourself some manuals. The manual part numbers you should get are:
