i have an 05 road king custom on the front facing side of the oil pan i pulled out the oil drain plug as usual but i also took out the plug rite next to it thinking it was the trans plug! in the manual it says do not remove !! did i mess up??
the forward facing recessed plug next to the oil drain does go into the pan. This is where you would install a sensor for oil temp gauge. The far right side plug is the trans drain. Jiff side plug is oil. Naw you didn't mess up, reinstall and torq, you'll be ok.
