drain plug help!

Default drain plug help!

need a little help guys as stupid as this sounds this will be my third fluid change on my bike ,
i have an 05 road king custom on the front facing side of the oil pan i pulled out the oil drain plug as usual but i also took out the plug rite next to it thinking it was the trans plug! in the manual it says do not remove !! did i mess up??

the forward facing recessed plug next to the oil drain does go into the pan. This is where you would install a sensor for oil temp gauge. The far right side plug is the trans drain. Jiff side plug is oil. Naw you didn't mess up, reinstall and torq, you'll be ok.

Like stated it is for oil temp sensor. Now that you removed it you might as well install an $80 oil temp guage

DO what the dawg says and buy the oil temp gauge.[sm=biker.gif]
