I have an 03 Superglide and it was getting low oil pressures (around 22psi). At the time it was using no oil. I changes the oil pressure relief spring and my pressures went to the factory recommended (34-38psi). Now my bike likes to run about half way down like others have said (Bout 1/2 qt off full). It doesn't use oil at all after it gets to this point.

Maybe the next time you get the oil changed check to make sure it's at the correct level then keep an eye on the level.
