Default Redline Transmission

Has anyone used Redline Transmission fluid in the 2014 Limited Transmission?

Yes I wouldn't use any other fluid! Big difference in finding neutral.

Yes, I use the Redline 20/50 in the engine, Redline primary case oil and Redline V-Twin Transmossion oil with ShockProof

The Transmission shifts smoother and is easier to find neutral.

redline transmission is smelly stuff I'm a first time user and I think I recall reading somewhere else that it is a little smelly. Confirmed no doubt about it.

That's what I will be running after my they do my 1K service this weekend. I had always ran M1 in my softail but thought I would give Redline a try on my new SGS. I'm definitely looking to lessen the clunk and make finding neutral easier.

I had a discussion with one of parts/tech who built his own engine/trans up and he uses and recommends the redline for the transmission, he said it really coasts and sticks to the gears. I think that is what i will switch over to at 1K.

Redline has been good in my bike also. No complaints.

Funny, I had a free 1000 mile service and did not know it. I took my bike in at 1200 to have the clutch recall done and they offered me my free service. I told them I had already done it myself and used Redline oils in all 3. They told me that they had had several transmission bearing failures due to Redline. Then they pointed to a printed notice on the wall from HD stating that transmission bearing failures due to inferior lubricants would void any warranty.

Yea right. Total BS

I have been using Readline products for years and will continue to do so.
