Comin home from work I saw a biker that had just gone down maybe 30 seconds earlier. Pulled over and ran over to help. Ended up it was my wife. Someone had made a left in front of her and she t'boned him in the drivers door. He was cited. She's gonna be in the hospital for some time. Luckily, no head (brain/cortex) injury, no spinal injury and no internal organ injury. As I was comforting her, I could hear him say "I didn't see her".
I hope she heals quickly and gets right back on the scoot. What a lame excuse "I didn't see..." BS When behind the wheel of a cage, you should be paying 100% attention...
sorry to hear about yoyur wife. My wife just started riding this year and I worry every time she heads out alone. She rode almost 4,000 miles this year and is a very good rider but it is always in my mind even when I can see her in my mirror. I hope your wife heal fast & continues to ride.
Had to be a shock to you when you discovered it was your wife - can't imagine. Hope the recovery is quick and as painless as possible. Prayers are with you and her.
