25 days and counting. Do I hear a BIG...WAY TO GO BEV...for taking her time to put together this 2nd Rally for us. It is a lot of work, and Bev did an 'outstanding job' last year as those who attended will confirm.Thanks, Bev (sound of applause)!!!!!

I always pack way more than I need but don't think I will need to go to that extreme Spudster.
Shasta forecasting highs in high 60s and low 70s, with lows in the 40s for the next week. Looks like things are getting better.

Ah ha! That explains your signature pic. I was wondering. For all you older folks, that is 62 or over, if there are any besides a couple of us, think about getting a Golden Age Passport. It's a lifetime admission permit and is good in National Parks as well as BLM, Forest Service, and several others. Can't remember if it was free or there was a fee. Might save you a few bucks.

As I recall, one of the guys had one of those passports and the ticket ranger said 3 more get in free (Yosemite). He said the next 3 behind him, Brother Dave and I scored and someone else, don't remember who. We bought him lunch at the Valley for getting us in FREE!!
