Looks like this will be my first one. We've always been in Lake Havasu City that weekend, but never rode the bike due to some legal issues with the state of AZ. Got that cleared up last year, so I'll be in Havasu for the whole weekend with the bike. Gonna head into Laughlin on Saturday to check out the mess.
Went last year and liked it. I plan on going this year. My son lives in Vegas. I think that I will tell him that he will have a house guest for a few days this year.
Not sure if I'm going or not. I'm in Vegas, so only an hour and a half ride or so. But maybe going back to Oregon before April.
But for anyone who has never been and who has been thinking about going.... GO!
It's a lot of fun, expensive if you stay in the hotels there but hey, it's only money. There is tons of stuff to buy. Girls everywhere, you can drink while walking on the sidewalks and parking lot (as long as it's not a glass container) and for the most part, lots of security to keep out the trouble. Well I guess they slipped that one year.
Laughlin is a blast! All the hype about the bike jams did not happen last year and I suspect getting around will be easier still this year. Take advantage of the riding while you are there.
