Hey All,
I need information on gas availability along Hwy 50 from Fallon, NV to I-15 in Utah. I'm thinking about doing this stretch in September and I know that I'll need gas at least two times...maybe even three. All feedback appreciated.

Sounds like you may not of made this trek before-consider on your way from Ely,NV to Delta,UT stopping in Baker,NV. Allow a couple hours to tour Lehman Caves and a food stop at the Lectrolux Cafe/Silverjack Inn-this guy can cook the food!

Huge nasty swarming crickets that in certain areas (like those along 50) will completely cover roadways and destroy crops. They've been bad the last 2 or 3 years. They're everywhere.

We were bombing down 50 and saw something up ahead in the road that looked like a gravel spill mixed with mud.
As we slowed down we could see it was a mass of moving huge *** crickets and thousands were smashed all over the road.
It was such a mass you could even smell it! [:'(]
