Last year all the hotels held more than 200 rooms and underbooked. I had freinds get rooms the weekend of the event for $40.00 a night. I'm going to try it this year.

Wow, that kinda bums me out since I like knowing I got the best deal possible... and THAT sounds like a killer deal... one year I booked one room at about $60, so it wasn't that bad... oh well... party at the Edgewater!!!!

I hope that plan works our for you Cityfyrman.

That's where I have stayed the past 4 years. Have a card. Play my *** off. VIP even. I call VIP services and no break! No Discount! not even a VIP parking pass. My Grandmother goes there all year and usually gets comped rooms every year. This year NADA. Guess they are cutting back on the comps?!?!?!

Nope. Not this year. At least not for me. I gambled and broke even but around a 3000.00 exchange over the 3 nights. Not sure if that's enough with Tropicana but I know they are definitely cutting back on the comps this year.
