I was thinking maybe doing the coast to oregon, then down through Lassen or something like that.
I'm not sure I'm that motivated right now, still too worn out.
I was also thinking of just going to Tahoe and riding the mountains, but I can't really afford to go in the casinos and I know I will if I'm there. No willpower!
Yosemite sounds nice as well.
Any mini rallys or bike shows going on that I can head out to?
Go 80 to Auburn, then North on 49 ( I think). Take that to 70 East, to 395 South, to 431 and up to Tahoe. Take the South way around until Tahoe City on the north side, up to Truckee and then back to 80. Now I'm excited, I may take that route this weekend...
To see me!
Oh wait that is not close to your home and I won't be home either...
The only great road I know in the north is Mattole Rd. But that starts in Humbolt Redwoods state park and goes all the way up to Ferndale (getting close to Eureka).
Small coast road a bit narrow in some spots but really beautiful. I was up there end of last year they were working on the road in one spot but I would hope after 8 months that is fixed...there was also a loose cow (Do cows hurt more then deer?).
Cows are nice and squishy. Like hitting a big pillow
I think im just gonna pack some clothes, water, and a little food and leave.
I'll let the road take me somewhere. Maybe just for the day, maybe the whole weekend, I dunno.
I'm still not too motivated, but I think once I'm on the bike things will be better.
I wonder if i can make it to sturgis and back before Monday morning [8D]
Maybe if I just have a beer and leave?
