Well I can say for sure that mine has only seen tarmac since it was purchased. Ended up getting surgery about a month after picking it up and couldn't ride for most of season. I think its quite nimble and comfortable on the street. I traded a road king for it and I'm still happy so far. Bike got it's 1K service and was put up for winter.

Have almost 300,000K miles over 10 years. Started on a 883 Iron and last ride before PA was a Road Glide. Only sold the RG after realizing it was sitting in the garage after two months of the PA. It is the a fantastic ride in all conditions, more fun to be on, and I have no problems with 500+ mile days.

I'm approaching 5k mikes and love the ride. My last touring bike was a 2019 FLHTP stage 2 with Legend shocks. There is no comparison, the PA is miles ahead in ride smoothness and comfort. The power is far better than the M8 stage 2.
I was concerned about the heels under *** position but it's a non issue. I added A1 risers and still searching for the perfect seat for me. I sold the 2019 when I realized between the power, ride and easy of handling lighter weight I was not going to use it.

totally different riding experience. Better cornering, faster response, way better breaking, more comfortable, great at those nasty tight uphill curves, lighter, easier to park, faster, different riding modes (city, rain, sport, etc). Better handling on rain and slippery roads.

‘’the list is endless

I'm coming off a Road Glide w/ $1,400 Legends and the Pan Am is a way smoother ride. I will say that the Road Glide handled interstates better than the PA, especially when caught between tractor trailers. I guess that the weight of the RG has something to do with it.

I started on dirt bikes as a kid, 3 wheelers and a Honda Rebel as my 1st street bike, road sport bikes and metric "cruisers" until about 8 years ago when I switched to Harley's. Road King, Road Glide Special, Road Glide Ultra, and finally a Road King Special.

The PA is the funnest to ride of the Harley's for sure.

It's more comfortable than the sport bikes for sure (I did Fort Hood Texas to California twice on my FZR 600 back in the late 80's early 90's)

I did a Port Arthur Tx to Sheridan Wy (via New Mexico, Colorado, and South Dakota) this summer and aside for the stock seat, pleasure to ride (I added Rox risers for that trip and have replaced those with the A1 risers). I have a Russell Day Long now and have some sw-motech Ion's inbound which should complete the comfort for long distance for sure.

It's a different experience for sure, different riding position too but it just puts a smile on my face everytime I ride it. I do miss the potato potato sound but meh, I just twist the throttle and all is right in the world
