Default Increase Hill Hold Time

Based on what I have read from other posts it sounds like the infotainment update (5.1288.2_20211217) increases the font size on the TFT (21 models). I can't image the infotainment update would have anything to do with hill hold times. Does anybody know what specific update (BCM, ECM, etc.) increases hill hold times on 21 models? I just logged into HD- SIP and I didn't see anything that appears to address increased hill hold time on 21 models. When I call the dealer to schedule some time to address the infotainment recall/update I'd like to be able to ask for whatever update takes care of the increased hill hold time.

Thanks!

There was an emc and ehcu update that came out that addresses the hill hold time. So make sure your dealer also does both.

My dealer was suppose to have done both. I think they only did the Recall for screen. My hill hold time is only 10 sec. Not long at all.

Yeah, that is exactly why I asked about this. My concern is if I can't point the dealer to the specific update (i.e. document, version #, etc.) that includes the hill hold change then they may not perform the update (or maybe they don't know about it). 10 seconds is way too short for the hill hold time. The hill hold on my Ultra Limited stays engaged until I hit the throttle. That has come in handy on multiple occasions when riding in the hills/mountains.

To change the topic a little. Has anybody heard if the clock issue (not keeping accurate time) has ever been fixed on the 21 models?

If they are a halfway decent dealer, they should apply ALL of the software updates when the bike is with them. They should just be able to enter the VIN and see a full list of recalls and software updates.

It's not rocket science and it's something they are meant to be able to do flawlessly. And for free as your bike is under warranty.

I have the clock issue, and I need to connect my HD app to get it back. I have also the jamming starter from time to time. I have also a reset of the IMU during the ride, where phone connection gets lost...

If you haven't done so, install the HD app and add your bike- it will then show you what recalls are outstanding and which version have been installed

It would be nice, I live in the Greater Smokey Mountains. Hills on every ride I do.

No, clock still does not keep time. Will only keep time if H-D app is connected.

It does show recalls and some updates. I say this because if the last update is suppose to increase hill hold to be much longer than 10 seconds then its not showing it on the app.
