Confession: I have always sucked at wheelies. But that doesn’t mean I don’t try to them on this bike. But I have always chickened out and cut the throttle before wheelie control kicks in.
Question: how far up will wheelie control let u go before it kicks in? I would love to try and get better at this knowing the bike will baby sit me.
Wheelie control??? Sounds more like rider control to me. But hey, I'm not in favor of being a public nuisance by doing wheelies on public streets but I do support your right to provide a few laughs when it goes wrong!
Certainly not rider control. It’s just the traction control that stops you lifting the front. Just disable it and off you go.
Traction control and abs are the best rider aids ever fitted to bikes.
I can't speak to the HD wheelie control, but I have it on my BMW and it makes for a fun ride. Full-throttle 2-foot wheelies while ripping through the gears via a quick shifter. That's with having the control on, but in Dynamic mode. I wouldn't dare try it with it off. Makes me feel like a kid again.
