Engine heat a issue? Your thoughts.

Personally no issues with the clutch side on my 22 Special. The heat by my right foot does get a little hot if I get stuck in traffic. If I am in boots I do not really feel it. When I wear a lighter riding sneaker I can feel it. I did put a little bigger foot peg on, and he helps to get my foot away from the bike a little. I'm also going to try a heat guard like on the 23 model. Really, this is a non issue. My old Honda v4 use to put out way more heat.

I'm glad to hear from others who have owned "hot" bikes that Pan America heat is noticable but isn't a huge issue. I was wondering too how much the lower heat guard on the right makes a difference. I guess they added it to the '23s for a reason.
