Default First Change

Depending on where you live I would highly recommend removing the complete front end minus the trees if your fork tubes are 1 5/8", wheel, & calipers. If your fork tubes are smaller than purchase a 1967 set of trees & use your Nacelle. Buy yourself a complete late model (2000~2013) front fork & wheel assembly with dual rotors & good calipers. Make a stand and put that old fork on a stand and bring it clean in the bedroom to wake up & go to sleep looking at.

If you live in any sort of populated areas you will need good brakes and that drum brake will not stop you when warding off the mistakes that stupid drivers will make like cutting you off. You will wear down a pair of sneakers trying to stop in time. I live in Fort Lauderdale and everyday this bike went out was a near death experience. Morally, I did not want to do this modification, but where I live and the poor driving habits of our fellow man, it is much better to ride another day on a bike that stops.

loudest bike I have ever heard, love it! Loud pipes save lives! I know you wrote depending where I live...Regarding the front break drum I will be leaving it old school! When I was younger thats what I would tell my pop "lets put discs on this bad girl." His reply "lets turn this bad girl back to original!" Almost everyone can hear me, and when they actually see me I am going slow in style. This is a nice old bar hopper, as my pop would say. The big front wheel, 5 gal tank, and straight bars grew on me I just love the look of the entire package. In the 90's when I was a young buck my pop had the the tranny built up (1up3down) and had the motor turnt up. Pretty sure he had the heads ported and polished. He spent a good chunk of change and that was in the 90's, the work was done at a high end shop. Thanks to all for the positive words. and your rides are lookin' good boyz
