Default Plasti dip

I am looking to paint the fork legs and bells gloss black.

How does the plasti dip quality and appearance compare to powder coat or epoxy paint?
I have looked at the swap option thru ***** Shinny but exploring options as I would like to do it myself.

My girlfriend's kid just did his Subaru wheels with plasti-dip - they look really good! Maybe not quite up to par with powedercoating, but much quicker and cheaper. I was impressed!

I did my front end with it. Not a fan of the look but does look better than the OEM. If you don't like it peel it off

The dip is the easiest option but powder coat is the answer. It can be done and looks great and is durable. You can get started for minimal investment as long as you have a way to bake it. I recommend NOT using the wife’s oven unless you hate her cooking. Side note: practice on a coke can or something first

ever thought about anodizing?? it is a metal treatment more so than a coating which can be chipped or buggered. they have many colors out now, i had my 1974ch slider's done about 40 years ago and still presentable.

!There is a company that will sell you "dip" in any color you wish.

In fact, they sell a spray gun too

I did my rims on a Veloserter looked good for a while. My suggestion is if you plasti-dip anything use the clear coat on top of that. Also the plasti-dip is washable, so if you wash the part that has the dip on it, it won't peel off if you scrub it.

Oh, do not plastiDip anything that gets over 300 degree's or your dip will melt off
