Default Powder coat

Can you powder coat a chrome slipon and will it hold up to the high heat.

You can, it will look great but it probably won’t last just a few seasons of riding, a ceramic coat would be better for the heat.
the chrome needs to be roughed up for the powder to cling, it would not be cost effective to remove the chrome so basically a good media blast is all you can do.
Mufflers hang down low get a lot of road blast plus the heat cycles just hard to make it last a long time, but you can always freshen it up.
