The wheels on my Rocker are full of water spots on the clearcoated chrome area, and I'm looking for a good product that will get rid of the spots without damaging the clear coat. Any suggestions???????/
Have you tried greased lightning? I cut it with water 50/50 and put it in a spray bottle. I know you can spray it on tires and watch the dirt roll off, rinses clean. Don't put it on raw aluminum.
Your wheels are not clearcoated chrome. They are either chrome or polished and clearcoated. If it really is clearcoated, it is either paint or clear powdercoat. Any product that is safe for paint would be safe for the clearcoat. I like Adam's products; I'd start with either their clay bar or Revive polish. Do NOT use any sort of metal polish on clearcoated surfaces.
Not sure if the wheels on your rocker are the same as mine but I have polised alloy and I use a product called Wicked.
It is in a yellow bottle with a picture of a truck bullbar on it.
Just wipe it on and then wipe it off and I use it on anything shiney. Something that really works.
The Owners Manual says "Some vehicle's wheels are aluminum and do not have a protective coating. Other vehicles have laced wheels with chrome plated rims and zinc or chrome plated spokes."
Maybe this will help
for info stock rocker c wheels are raw polished cast aluminum. no coating of any kind.
mothers billet polish is by far the best polish to use on these wheels. the key to keeping
these wheels looking as new is to keep bike clean as possible and use polish at least once a month or more often if ridden alot. another option buy new wheels or get stockers
chromed.

SEZ WHO? I have personally used Mother's Billet Polish on a variety of metals, including cast and forged aluminum wheels. It doesn't even come CLOSE to be being as effective as Simichrome.
