I don't have the time or knowledge to disassemble & reassemble my night train so I was calling around to a couple of local shops to get some pricing. One shop quoted me about $600ish & the other $700ish. Here is a list of what I want done.
Gloss Black
Lower Fork Tubes
Triple Trees
Risers
Bars
Head Light Housing
Exhaust Heat Shields (ceramic coated)
Is this a fair price for everything? I will be dropping of the bike with them & they will do all the labor work & powder coating. Actually, they send the stuff off to get coated but they use the same place.
man you are asking 2 things here what is the price on powder what is the price on labor, what are the labor rates for the shop? just glancing over this stuff with them doing the work i thnk you are getting a decent deal
I have no idea on the price of labor or powder to be honest. I wish I could send you everything to have it done but I don't have the means. I asked around my local area & it seems that it is about the average price where I live. Thanks for the help!!!

I had a bunch of stuff PC'd, and I had to bring it all to them, so if they are removing the parts those prices seem really good......IMO
I had my entire front end, front and rear turn signal assemblies, front and rear fender trim, light assemblies, crash bars, etc. powder coated and it cost $500.00 and some change for the powder coating; no labor involved.

Did you have any issues with the light assembles being powder coated. They don't feel like metal to me?
