Default PCing Deuce Wheels

Getting ready to have the wheels on my 2000 Deuce PC’d and need some questions answered. Front: Going with the Black Rim and hub and Chrome spokes (like the new WideGlide). Will the process turn out better if the wheel is completely disassembled, painted, then new spokes replaced, and wheel trued? Probably need to find a shop to do this, if necessary. Rear: Going with black and will probably have the sproket done while it is all off. Putting a 180SE back on it. Bearings: Can they be taped, or will they need to be replaced? Also should all tires be replaced at the first sign of dry cracking?Next step is to find a shop in the area that can get me exactly what I’m looking for, as I’m not going anywhere near the HD shop with this!!!

we can help you with all of this, yes they ahve to be unlaced completely for this type of style. bearings MUST be pulled they can not handle the heat, typically i recomend that they are replaced but if they seem free and the customer wants them back in i will do so with their blessing, yes tires should be replaced... wehave a tire changer and balancer in the shop as well. if you have any questions let me know we do this on a daily basis
