Default Interchangeable wheels?

I love the wheels that come on the newer Dyna models. How could I go about getting the proper information on how to possibly swap them onto my 2000 Deuce?

These are the wheels I am talking about.

You'll prolly have better chance of getting some made for your Deuce. Think the difference in years is too great. Isn't your Deuce running a 17 x 4.5 rim? The one on that bike is a 16 x 3.5 I believe. Someone in here has prolly done it, though.

I'm pretty sure the front will be no problem. Where it will get tricky is on the rear. It's just a guess, but in 06 HD started putting wide tires on the rear of everything. My first conscearn would be hub width. Both stock tires are the same size so if the hub fits in the swing arm you should be good. Probably need different spacers.

The bearings are different sizes on newer and older bikes. the 2000 has sealed 3/4" bearings. Depending on the year of the Dyna (anything 2008 and up has 25mm bearings so the bearings and crush tube will need to be changed. As far as specific fitment, who knows. I think it is more hassle than it is worth. Buy a set properly configured for your bike and bolt them on. What model Dyna do you want the wheels off? All of these questions and answers are quite pertinent to specifics.

Spacers might need to be shimmed or you might need new longer ones. It is not rocket science but unlikely it will be a direct bolt on.
