touch up
Had a small tipover into a stair post in the garage and left a dime size chip in the L saddlebag lid, and a small < 1" scratch in the latch. Will i be able to make this passable w/ the HD 2 part touch up paint? I'm wanting to eventually replace both parts, so don't wanna spend the coin to get them fixed by a body shop just to take them off later, but also, don't want a glaring "hole" in the paintwork. TIA

If the touchup paint is a good match, then carefully lay in the color just to the size of the chip. then if you're talking about the second part being clear coat use that to fill the "hole" up to the original surface. You can then carefully sand it smooth, and buff it out. That eliminates the touchup blob you see sometimes...
